Game of Thrones Premieres on March

Massive, massive fan of Game of Thrones! Haven't gotten around to read the books but I definitely love the series. Never mind the explicit scenes (if you know, you shy from them, hit FORWARD) the story line gets better and better each episode. Never bores.

Cannot wait for March 2013 and see Daenerys Targaryen again with her dragons.

Biding My Time With Suits

Harvey Specter is perfection. His corporate bad-assery is sexy! I am just one amongst a throng of women who falls for a man with tough exterior but really gooey inside. He appears vain (well he really is, dressed to the nines and all), indifferent, arrogant and a pain-in-the-ass to work with. Mike Ross his protege however is softer, kinder and more compassionate.

I'm just glad I found this series to bide my time while Game of Thrones and The Vampire Diaries are still in the works.

I have yet again fallen in love with a fictional character. This time, to a much older man to which reminds me to note that my taste in men have changed as well. Before, I go gaga for boys who play the guitar or drums. Now? I get attracted with more mature men who appear neat, confident, passionate in what they do and of course, financially stable.

Haha. I just had a talk with my best friend regarding this. Very entertaining how we view men nowadays.

If you love an intelligent banter and corporate bad-assery, then you should watch Suits. Did I mention that Mike Ross has a photographic memory? Yeah, and in law, that is one big advantage.

I promise you, YOU WILL BE ENTERTAINED!

Not Another Korean Remake

Why oh why? Why a korean remake of It Started With A Kiss? I super loved that series. It's in my top favorites list!!! The list that contains dramas I occasionally watch over and over again. Why???

Haven't we learned from previous remakes? Highly commercialized, bad casting and bad acting? Okay. So Boys Over Flowers is an exception. We all know how phenomenal it was. The thing is, Lee Min Ho CAN ACT. Whereas Kim Hyun Joong (the lead actor of ISWAK korean version), as my best friend puts it, cannot act to save his life. Let's say he is a bit appropriate for the role. What with his poker face he constantly wears around and the air of indifference. But that's exactly the issue here. All he knows is the poker face act. His character in this drama is not all about poker face all the time. ISWAK fans will agree on this. Ugh. I just hate this. Another highly commercialized drama remake. I'd know. It comes from the same company behind Boys Over Flowers.

Then again, I'm pretty sure I'll watch the drama anyway... out of curiosity. My best friend and I hope we'll be pleasantly surprised instead getting sorely disappointed.

It's not a competition.. but I doubt this pair can at least deliver the onscreen appeal of Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin. Their team up worked wonders. No. It's not just about them, it's the whole cast. Why else would fans strongly demand 2nd season and.. a 3rd season.

I pray they casted the right people for each role. ISWAK had long, long episodes but it as far from a dragging drama. Each episode was super fun. It's not just Ariel Lin and Joe Cheng. As I've said, each character played by the cast came to life and became real which was the main reason why, fans like me, OVERREACT OVER A KOREAN REMAKE!

First Quizzes Always Suck!

I just hate it when first quizzes of the semester always suck. The Finance quiz this morning was a classic example. We got out frantically asking everyone for answers. Don't ask. I'm pretty sure I flunked that one but still hoping for little miracle to happen on next week's results.

So I trudged home and mechanically typed for streaming episodes of How I Met Your Mother. I love love the show. I super love how they make you laugh in every episode. And they seem to be NOT trying to. Many compares it to Two and a Half Men, but I would definitely put them on a higher pedestal. I'm on my third season  and no sign yet of getting tired of the show. I guess I won't ever will.

All of the characters define the show. No Ted Mosby, No HIMYM. No Marshall, No HIMYM. And etcetera. Everyone will agree with me on this. The network will cut this show if they kill BARNEY STINSON. It will not survive without Barney's hilariously exaggerated story-telling of his sexploits, his aversion to commitment and marriage, his self-worship of his awesomeness, and other ridiculous stuff that make you wince and laugh a lot all at the same time. Yes baby, that's Barney Stinson. What's got the show to do without him? Right? Right?

Suit up!!!

Sidebit note: Contrary to the character he's playing as Barney Stinson (the 'legendary ladies' man'), the actor is proudly GAY. Uhuh. And I'm not kidding. Neil Patrick Harris is proudly gay. WHAT UUUUP! (lol. gonna stop mimicking Stinson now...)

Gong Yoo's Back!

If there's one thing I should celebrate today despite the RED mark I received early this morning, it's GONG YOO's comeback!

Yes, he's released from his two-year military service. Watching photos of his fan meeting in Korea lifted my spirits an eensy bit. Oh well.

Coffee Prince was fun. Can't wait for his projects soon.

BOF Music Drama Finale

Jun Pyo and Ji Hoo's parts are finally out. Be prepared for disappointments though, if you're one of the many who anticipated a wedding scene. There's not. Nothing much to see on Jun Pyo's after story. Most of it were flashbacks. The rest featured Jun Pyo baking cookies for Jan Di. That's it.

As for Ji Hoo, can't say much since I haven't watched the entire MV. Nevertheless, as promised, here are the videos. Sorry if it's not of high quality. If it's any consolation, they're all english subbed.

BOF After Story MV's released

Hugely disappointed to know it's merely a series of music videos. What they call as MUSIC DRAMA. Only a minute percentage of the footage is new, the rest are recycled scenes from the series.

I have to agree with allkpop, it's over-hyped. CLICK PLAY. Comments and Thanks are appreciated. I will update this post as new videos/parts come out. Enjoy watching.

PS MANNY PACQUIAO WON. He made HATTON kiss the canvass thrice!!!

Part 1: Yi Jeong's Story

Part 2: Woo Bin's Turn

thanks to you.

UPDATE:
Music drama finale here.

Boys Over Flowers After Story Out on April 28th!

*speechless*.....

This better be true, there's a video to backup the rumor so IT PROBABLY IS!!! More of LEE MIN HO!!! Goosebumps. Seriously. I felt it creep over me while I watched the promotional video. The after story will air this April 28th in Korea. Fellow fans, fret no more.

The drama unfolds showing F4 five years later. The almighty Goo Jun Pyo said goodbye to his curly hair. No sign of Geum Jan Di but I saw a glimpse of Ga Eul. And her Sunbae? Yi Jeong was carrying a bouquet of flowers while sporting an excited smile. Could it be for Ga Eul (I hope so!!!)? Ji Hoo's still Ji Hoo. And Woo Bin? He might be pursuing Ga Eul too. Or it's just my crappy interpretation with his millisecond dramatic appearance with Ga Eul; I assume she's the girl in the pink dress (was it red-orange). Why don't you just take a peek of the video.

Gone be the sighing and wishing for a follow-up BOF story.. Got what I wanted. YEy. More Lee Min Ho!

Kim Sam Soon American Remake

Hollywood's making a remake of one of my favorite Korean series, Kim Sam Soon! NBC acquired the rights to have the Korean drama remade as prime time series airing on 2009.

No news of the cast as of this time. Will update if word gets out. I agree with Popseoul about casting Daniel Henney. There will be no problem with him speaking the language since he's already fluent in English. I doubt it but who knows? This might be his big break if he gets the chance.

Heroes Season 3 Teaser

"Save the cheerleader, save the world!" --The line that started it all! The Heroes frenzy is back with its third season which will premiere on September 22nd! Now, that's something to look forward to. Only a month more to go until we get to see the first episode. Yay!!!

But, until then, here's a sneak peek to Heroes' third installment. Gosh, I can't wait!
