Flagellation and crucifixion. The true of essence of Lenten season is not of physical excursion. It is soul-searching. Of silent prayers and peaceful pondering. It is the admission of sins and repenting. It is acceptance of Christ as Lord and rejoicing at his victory of sacrifice. That he saved us all. Redeemed us.
What of it? What can this all do to the soul? When tomorrow.. you go back to your ways with nothing so much of an attempt to change?

holy c--- oh, wait i shouldn't be profane. that looks painful! i dnt understand why some people seem to think that getting crucified like Christ would mean being cleansed from sins (and this is coming from someone who doesn't do anything to his own sins). X_X
