I'll devour this tonight. Every book I read by Bob Ong gave me a laughting treat; because of him, I now patronize Filipino contemporary authors especially those of the same genre. BUT not Tagalog romance books. Ugh! Auntie's advice echoes in my ears as she said back then, 'If you want to finish school, AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!' I gave a blank, confused stare (feigning innocence! No. Really). After all, I was only a fresh graduate then about to start my high school life.
