How To Handle Hyper Kids

some of my nieces and nephews. SOME.
Among our Filipino customs and tradition, the part I love most is having a close knit family. My family is no different. My father has nine siblings (which makes them ten, all in all). All of 'em have two to six kids each. If you do the numbers, we are around 40-50 cousins counting those outside their marriage. A good number of these cousins are already married and have kids.

Little kids running around, screaming, and squabbling over toys is pretty normal for us. Yes, having a huge family is fun albeit chaotic (in a perky way) most of the times. DO NOT expect to have a moment of silence in any gathering. I literally can't read in silence or listen halfway through a song without my nephews or nieces nudging me to do something for them or worrying for their safety as they climb and jump recklessly in places.

So I thought of a way of keeping them in one place. Two words: COMPUTER GAMES! A friend taught me this trick and it worked! I found these match 3 games and they were awesome! FREE DOWNLOADABLE KID GAMES! Haha. They remind me so much of the arcade games I used to play and got obsessed with. If you don't want to download, you can play their online match 3 games.
See? Worked!
But I suggest you just download match 3 games instead. They keep the kids preoccupied while you have your Me time. I particularly loved these. Addictive. Much like the Facebook apps.

Pft! Kids. They're more trouble than you think but the color they bring to your life is priceless! I get frustrated every time they don't listen but the second they say, 'I'M SORRY TITA! I WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN. SO PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T GET MAD ANYMORE?' I instantly melt.
