I thought that after Marimar, his luck will run out. I was wrong. Just recently, news broke out in GMA that Dingdong Dantes was chosen to be on E! Entertainment's 25 sexiest men in the world. That's HUGE!
Come to think of it, E! Entertainment is one of the largest and most popular network around the world. I, for one, even watch their specials every Sunday on Lifestyle network. I've read they have 88 million subscribers in the US alone and 600 million more around the world. Will he have offers in Hollywood when this episode comes out? Hmmm.
Although E! eyed another Filipino talent but major votes from the network's staff zeroed in on Dingdong. Footages of his works and photos will be shown in a positive light. The said episode airs on the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2008.
I'm not a fan of Dingdong, but, I'm quite thrilled he's included in the list at all even if he'd turn up as the 25th. Haha!! Still, his efforts to improve his physique paid off.
Also confirmed on the list are David Beckham (UK), Gilles Marini (France), Michael Lewis (Israel), Dan Carter (New Zealand) and Kostas Martakhs (Greece). In case you're interested to know more about the others' works but is too lazy to work your fingers and google their names, here's a quick rundown on where you've heard/seen their names. Gilles Marini appeared on Sex and the City movie and series; Michael Lewis is an actor-model and Dan Carter is a rugby player. Wait, do I have to introduce Beckham? Are you a freakin hermit? haha.
