Sunrise to Sundown to Sunrise!!!

January 30, 2010 was surely a night to remember for the rest of my life.

Worries about the academics and other concerns were all set aside as we partied like it was the only time we've got on our hands. Friends excitedly jumped in the pool, hooted and splashed everyone passing nearby to urge others to get in and join in on the fun.

I joined in later as I was still waiting for Ivan to finish his coffee so I was left by myself at the side of the pool dancing to reggae music. As soon as Ivan finished his cigarette and coffee, we joined in on the fun without further delay. At 3 am, we were still dancing and singing at the top of our voices to the band playing on stage. And we took underwater pictures every chance we got. It was amazing that after such a long day we still had the energy to party like crazy 'til dawn. If we were cold and tired, we felt nothing. All we thought about was to have FUN. And boy, am I glad we did.

At the height of all, the male vocalist gave in to our request of Careless Whisper. He let me sing a line. When everyone asked him to take off his shirt, he feigned embarrassment and gladly obliged as he jumped in the water to join us. Everyone was so surprised because we thought he was only kidding. But he did right? We became fast friends, introduced himself as Miguel and we then took underwater pictures as seen below.

notice me, struggling to get the mic as the vocalist urged me to sing.

posing with the vocalist and few of my restless friends. Below is the underwater pic with vocalist.

Got home at 7 am. Went straight to bed groggy, almost zombie-like. 26 straight hours of no sleep was so tiring. But it was all worth it.

CONGRATULATIONS to all JPIA Officers for a successful Annual Regional Convention. No matter what others say, the delegates' smiles and laughter we saw and heard in the convention already compensated for all the hardships we had to face.

@Megann: Twas! It was not until dawn when I felt the exhaustion. And it was my first time to take underwater pics since I don't have one for it good thing a friend brought hers. HAHA.

@Flipt: Seems like everyone knows this Miguel. AMIGO NG BAYAN? Anyway, he is indeed funny and friendly.

Hmm, not exactly floating. But they set it up as if it is.

He sings fine. Love it when he does reggae.
