Young Filipinos Win Sony's Video Campaign



Nine Fine Arts students from University of the Philippines (Diliman) bagged the top prize worth $5000 for a video they made for Sony Ericsson's "Shake Control" campaign

Clarence Santos, Lilli Beth Gelvezon, Cathlene Samiano, Pocholo De Villa, Marius Talampas, Emmenuel Carandang, Frank Magalona, and Joseph Torrijos were required to make a one-minute long video that takes a comedic look at a fictional beverage, "Shake Pop,"inspired by Sony's latest Walkman mobile phone lineup with its popular "Shake Control" feature.

The one-minute video beat groups from Indonesia, Thailand, India and Singapore in the said Asian-wide competition.
