Why did it took me long to notice her? Stumbling and browsing random music blogs really do you good. I have found a gem in the name of Estelle. Her style's reminiscent of Diana Ross, Patti Austin's and the like. In fact, if I just listened to her song without prior knowledge about her and the generation she belongs to, I'd probably place her work among the eighties and nineties music.
