Thank Heavens! Our first meeting in Accounting 202 turned out better than I thought. Haha.

WHAT I THOUGHT AND IMAGINED THINGS TO BE:
- The department assigning an uber-strict not to mention booooriiiing professor to our block. The kind who ONLY reads seemingly IMPORTANT matters on our textbook which with her droning voice turns words into another language lulling us to sleep.
- Pop quizzes and Oral recitation from previous lessons. Like duh. How can they expect students to remember when all summer our mind's been idle so obviously our mind's in a complete state of NOTHINGNESS on our first day.
Fortunately, all of the above NEVER happened. We were quite apprehended though when our professor came in and immediately ordered us to prepare a 1/4 sheet of paper. We were like, "OMG! Can't be..CRAP! Pop quiz on the first day?!" Reading our troubled faces, our Prof smiled and said, "Write your names and pass it to the front afterwards." Our fears didn't end there though. There was still the possibility of an ambush oral recitation soooo within the succeeding minutes we all felt a bit shaky while our Prof went on and on about house rules. A few moments later, her humorous demeanor and corny jokes eased us a great deal which helped us relax (Thank God, there was no Oral stuff).
We were relieved to FINALLY end up with a mentor who takes her students' welfare into account SINCERELY or that's what we thought after all her prep talk. Others never cared whether we fully understood or not. She however pronounced her dedication to let us comprehend the lessons very well. Hope what she said will be put to action and remain consistent throughout! I don't want to believe they were just EMPTY words.
The bottom line is everything went A-Okay. I hope next week's OKAY too. And I SHOULD keep three things in mind:
- START BEING A DILIGENT STUDENT AND STUDY HARD
- NO TO WATCHING TOO MUCH DRAMA SERIES AND MOVIES. LESS TIME SURFING THE NET (IF POSSIBLE, TURN THE COMPUTER ON ONLY WHEN NECESSARY AND IN NEED).
- THE GOALS LISTED ABOVE MUST BE ENTIRELY KEPT TO HEART AND FOLLOWED FOR THE WHOLE DURATION OF THE SEMESTER OR BETTER YET, FROM NOW ONWARDS. :D
